...and things change despite seeming the same. But, do our perceptions matter more when weighed against the abstract truth? I've had this account for almost half of my life and I find myself returning to myself at those beginnings. For better or for worse, I feel good about this.

A certain trend has come to my attention over the past couple of years, and past several months on this site: apathy. Sure, I'm not a hugely popular artist on this site, I know this. However, just a few short years ago I would get a few favourites on a piece, but I'd also never fail to receive a handful of comments along with them. Nowadays I get quite a number of favourites, but comments are a rare thing. As much as I appreciate the favourites, it is really quite difficult for me to understand why people liked my work, or even why they didn't like it when all the feedback I get is a stark silence.
